“My passion for barbering was sparked in my student days, borne of my focus on the style, fashion, and design aspects of the acting and stage prosthetics course I was pursuing. Working in a busy barbershop and completing session work for Topman gave me the drive and experience to open HOUNDS.”
Founder: Barry Abrook
From a background of professional skateboarding, fashion, and graphic design, Barry has dedicated his time, passion, and effort to the noble art of barbering. Recognised nationally and locally for his commitment to quality and detail, he decided to form Hounds Barbering to showcase his fusion of traditional and modern techniques. A lifelong love of heritage, music, art, and collecting makes Barry an integral part of the HOUNDS jigsaw.
